This app is specifically designed for school transport drivers to facilitate real-time vehicle tracking, ensuring safe and efficient student transportation.
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the DiT School ERP Driver App.
When you use the DiT School ERP Driver App, we may collect the following types of information:
The app collects real-time GPS location data only when the driver starts the tracking feature within the app.
The location tracking remains active only during the trip (from “Start Tracking” to “Stop Tracking”).
The driver’s location data is shared in real-time with:
The school administrators, and
The parents/students assigned to that route, for monitoring vehicle movement and ensuring safety.
Basic device details such as device ID, model, operating system version, and app version may be collected for performance optimization and security purposes.
Information such as driver ID, assigned routes, trip start and end times, and app usage logs are recorded to maintain trip history and ensure accountability.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To enable real-time tracking of school transport vehicles.
To ensure the safety of students during transportation.
To provide school administrators and parents with accurate route information.
To maintain trip records and improve operational efficiency.
To troubleshoot technical issues and enhance app performance.
Your information may be shared only in the following cases:
With the School Administration: To monitor vehicle routes, driver performance, and student safety.
With Authorized Parents/Students: To view real-time vehicle movement on their assigned route.
With Service Providers: Limited access may be given to trusted third-party service providers for app hosting, analytics, or maintenance—bound by strict confidentiality obligations.
As Required by Law: If required by government authorities or law enforcement agencies under applicable legal processes.

Location data is retained only for the duration necessary to complete the transport activity and for limited historical reporting as required by the school.

The driver’s location is accessed only after they manually start tracking in the app.
Drivers may stop sharing their location at any time by ending the trip or turning off tracking.
By using this app and enabling tracking, the driver consents to the collection and sharing of their location data as described in this policy.
This app is intended for use by authorized school transport drivers only and not by children.
Any data visible to students or parents is for tracking their assigned route only, without sharing personal details of the driver.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
The updated version will be posted within the app, and continued use after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
